The Independent Charities "Best in America" seal of excellence is award-ed to those mem-bers of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. Of the one million charities operating in the US today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal of Excellence.



		You can easily make a donation to NEADY Cats by clicking on the picture at the right (or the donation box on the left side of every page). We receive 100% of your gift. A low fee of 2.85% is deducted from American Express donations. You will be transferred to a secure server where you can make a donation to our kitties. GiveDirect is the name that will appear on your credit card statement - not NEADY Cats. With the GiveDirect credit card processing service, no fees are taken on your Visa or MasterCard donation. 	In the year ending August 31, 2012 the shelter placed 133 cats and kittens in loving homes.
