Moses

Our good friend Moses couldn't fight the Leukemia any more. He became too weak yesterday, and was unable to stand or eat. We had to make that dreaded decision and take him to the vet. It was hard to see him go downhill so quick, from a lively 8 month old kitten, to what seemed like a hurting old cat with this evil burden weighing down his life. He was quite a character with all his fetching paper balls, and climbing antics. Most of all we'll miss his loving naps curled up on our lap, or on my chest in the morning, right into my neck. We expected to grow old with him. This is the first time in 22 years that we haven't had a pet in the house to greet us when we come home. It's very strange.
