Mittens
I adopted one of “Little Girls” kittens 14 1/2 years ago. A little gray, double-pawed kitten that I named Mittens. I’ve shared updates over the years, sent donations and even made sure the donations when my father died went to the shelter. I am heart broken to report that I had to put Mittens down on Friday. She was diagnosed in February with chronic kidney disease and it progressed very quickly. I could tell she was starting to suffer and I couldn’t let that continue. My heart is broken and shattered and I don’t know what to do. She was so special and everything to me. Thank you for giving her such a good start. I know that’s why she was loving and perfect.
Again, thank you for everything you did. My life is forever changed having had Mittens. I’m not sure I’ll ever get over losing her.
