Amanda
Amanda is 3–4 years old. She was surrendered to the shelter along with two other females, each with one kitten, and an eight-month-old male. The cats lost their home because their owner had to leave her residence. They are all sweet and gentle and need veterinary care, including vaccinations and eventual spay/neuter surgery. At the time of surrender, the owner did not know Amanda was pregnant. We discovered it after Amanda miscarried several kittens that were too young to survive. An X-ray showed one underdeveloped kitten remained in her uterus, but it was unlikely to develop further, so the decision was made to spay Amanda. She is now doing well, fully recovered from surgery, seeking attention, and eating well. Amanda is such a sweet girl, and we know she will find a forever home. She sends her hugs.
